Where are you located?
We are nestled in the heart of nature in a small village in the Eastern Townships called Stornoway. The nearest town is Lac-Mégantic, about an hour from Sherbrooke and Saint-Georges-de-Beauce.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, horseback riding activities must be booked in advance. Usually, booking a few days ahead of your desired date is sufficient.

At what age can children start horseback riding?
From age 2, children can enjoy short pony rides in the riding arena.
From ages 4 to 9, children can join guided trail rides with a walking guide.
From age 10, they can participate in regular trail rides with a mounted guide.
Can two people ride the same horse?
No. Only one rider per horse is allowed. However, children can ride their own horses and participate in certain equestrian activities starting at age 2.
How early should we arrive before our ride?
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled horseback riding activity. You must complete a form, make your payment, and use the washroom if needed.
What happens if the weather is bad or if it rains?
We ride in light rain at the customer's discretion. However, we cancel rides in the event of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or strong winds exceeding 45 km/h.
Can we cancel our reservation?
Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your reservation free of charge, except for rides lasting three hours or more, which are non-refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours before your departure.
What is the maximum weight limit for horseback riding?
The maximum rider weight limit is 250 lbs.
Will we get to trot and gallop?
We may allow you to experience trotting and light galloping under certain conditions. Trotting is possible on rides of 1.5 hours or more, while light galloping may be allowed on rides of three hours or more. These options depend on the riders' experience, the trail conditions, and the guide's judgment to ensure the safety of both riders and horses.
Are the trail rides in the forest?
Yes, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our trails, which run through the forest on the ranch property and within Frontenac National Park.
Do you accommodate groups?
Yes, we can take groups of up to 10-12 people on a single ride. We can also accommodate larger groups by splitting them into smaller sections. We welcome school groups, scouts, and recreational groups.
Are helmets required?
Helmets are mandatory for riders 18 years old and under and optional for adults. We offer helmet rentals on-site for $5 each.
Is there a waiting area for those who are not riding?
Yes, we have a picnic and rest areas by a small lake where companions can wait.
Can we bring our dog to the ranch?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the ranch for safety reasons.
