One step at a time toward First Nations culture to reconnect with oneself and Mother Earth

We wish to acknowledge that our feet are currently standing on soil rich with thousands of stories. Today, the W8banaki Nation is the guardian of the lands and waters of the territory on which we are established.

We would like to take a moment to honor the Indigenous languages, cultures, and identities that enrich this territory and highlight the importance of their past, present, and future contributions. Beginning in late summer 2025, we will add artwork from Quebec's 11 First Nations to the animal trail in 2026.

The goal is to create a place where visitors can encounter Indigenous culture, language, traditions, and beliefs while enjoying nature and observing various animals.
