Every summer, for more than 25 years now, our equestrian center has enthusiastically organized a riding camp for young people aged 8 to 16 in a safe environment as an AEQ Quality-Safety accredited member.
We offer several options to introduce your children to the world of horses and ranch life. Whether it's a day camp or a week-long stay, we limit the number of participants to 12 riders.
We develop programs suited for beginner to advanced riders. During the camp, children will take part in riding lessons, forest rides, and other equestrian activities, creating lasting memories.
We foster special bonds between children and horses, reinforcing their self-confidence.
Our qualified instructors guide young riders in their discovery of the world of horses. We teach not only equestrian skills, but also the values of responsibility and respect for others, animals, and the surrounding nature.

An AEQ accredited summer camp in Stornoway where you can improve your riding skills
Our summer camp immerses young riders in a unique equestrian adventure.
In addition to riding lessons and forest rides, we stimulate children's passion, curiosity, and independence through various activities, including:
- Horse preparation,
- Horseback swimming,
- Vaulting,
- Bareback riding,
- Lasso discovery,
- Horseback skill games.
Young people will also be able to enjoy horseback safaris on the animal trail.

Summer camp 2026
- 8 years and older
- From Sunday evening 7:00 PM to Friday PM 3:30 PM
- Including bedtimes, meals and snacks
- Minimum 10 hours of riding + 10 hours of equestrian workshop
- Prerequisites for advanced riders: Rider 1 or equivalent, or 2 regular camps at the Ranch, or having your horse 12 years old or older.
- June 28 to July 3 : Advanced/Intermediate (Ages 12+)
- July 5 - 10 : Beginners/Intermediate (Ages 10+)
- July 12 - 17 : Beginners 8 years and older

Cancellation Policies
In the event of cancellation due to public health or other reasons, Ranch Winslow will refund the full amount of the camp, less $85 for registration fees.
In case of cancellation, due to illness only and upon presentation of a medical certificate, Ranch Winslow will refund the amount of the camp less $300, covering the inherent costs for overnight camps or $125 for day camps and $45 for day camp.
Payment Terms and Discounts
- 10% discount starting with the 2nd child
- Registration deposit
- Full payment balance due May 20th for overnight camps, or June 20th for day camps
- Statement 24 issued for taxes
